Suede Vibes

Excuse the excessive photos on this post. I couldn't help it. I love this outfit more than you know, or as of now - guessed it. I don't know what it is about Suede but I can't stop buying suede. This dress was something that I "had to have" once seeing it online. It's the perfect jumper to pair with either a white lace top, striped top, or this black lace top. 

Suit It Up

I was looking for that Number one dress to wear for my birthday (I mean, doesn't every girl?). I was so dead set on a dress that I wasn't even letting my imagination wonder into a pant suite. I got really lucky after hitting up Zara's sale where this matching suit went from almost 100 - to just 60 with tax. I mean! I couldn't go wrong and for me this is the perfect birthday suit. 

Baby Blue's

I have accumulated so many long jackets and sweaters over the years, and being in LA it's hard to wear those items on the regular. It was irresistible when I peered this little baby blue number across a store. I walked away at first, thinking if I thought of it later - I would come back and buy it the next day. Well, I got home and left immediately back out the door to purchase it. I could picture so many things in my mind that I could wear it with - that purchasing it was a "no brainer". Luckily for me, it's a vest - so there is going to be plenty of wears from this fella.

Taking the Plunge

I am not the one usually for low plunging tops. If anything is below the breast line I immediately feel naked, and feeling like that in front of people is just a "no go". This top did break some boundaries for me, but since it's been extremely hot lately - it was actually refreshing to not have clothing sticking to me. This might not be something that I wear again, who knows, but least I tried it. * Side note, I was very uncomfortable even taking these photos outside. Not only was I cat called a dozen times - the looks of some woman was unbearable.

Things  have been a little hectic here in Los Angeles since March for me, and I am still trying to keep my head above water. My mother comes into town soon, and its going to be a much needed visit. It's been a year since I have seen here - were normally we go every 4 months with a visit. So I am very happy she is going to be helping me out for the week. 

Tweed Two-piece

Skipping around Beverly Hills for the day running errands, and anything in between. I found this super cute two-piece the other day at a little boutique that was exactly my size and everything I have been looking for. I have been wanting a tweed two piece for fall and walked into a store and there it was. I couldn't wait for fall, so decided I would throw this on to see how it moves. I can't wait to pair it with some tights and a blazer this fall.
