Major Shift

{White Cove Petite Star Dress, Steve Madden Heels, Zara Clutch}

This dress was everything to me when I first saw it on ASOS. Everything about this dress was my style. I love big flowy dresses, deep front cuts, and small designs that make the heart spin. To me it's still subtle but in a wow subtle. This was originally intended to be my New Years dress, but I accidentally shipped it to my parents house (no tax and free shipping - oops) and was not able to get it in on time. Although, since I am leaving LA soon - I am taking this little baby out on the town for my last hurrah.

Caramel Coats

{Forever 21 Coat, ASOS Sweater, Hudson Jeans, Stuart Weitzman Boots}

So a couple of days ago I finished filming on an amazing film called "Waterlily Jaguar". It has an amazing cast and crew (Mira Sorvino, Dominic Monaghan and James Legros) to name a few, but more on that later! After spending two months away from Los Angeles, it was a breathe of fresh air to come home to work that I am actually enjoying. We spent a total of 4 weeks in Boston and 3 weeks in Memphis. It was almost an even split spent with both of our families during the holidays, and just enough time out of Los Angeles that we have contemplated moving. Our time in Boston meant battling 5 degree weather for almost 3 weeks and then taking it down with us to Memphis. It was enough cold for me to buy another winter jacket to have some more variety. Also it matched the puppy today - so win win.

Sheer Madness

{Zara Long Sleeve Romper, Raye Heels}

At this point, I really don't care how cold it gets, I will always be wearing a romper (at least of some kind). This one was so appealing due to it's sheer back and sheer long sleeves. It puts a classy spin on something that I felt was inspired by a pre-teen phase. Also, lets not forget about this pop of white on the collar - it's a perfect addition to an all black ensemble. I even feel inspired to wear a pair of sheer black tights to keep the same aesthetic with the sleeves and back. I can even see a pair of knee high boots being a possible contender in this rompers future.
