Sheer Madness

At this point, I really don't care how cold it gets, I will always be wearing a romper (at least of some kind). This one was so appealing due to it's sheer back and sheer long sleeves. It puts a classy spin on something that I felt was inspired by a pre-teen phase. Also, lets not forget about this pop of white on the collar - it's a perfect addition to an all black ensemble. I even feel inspired to wear a pair of sheer black tights to keep the same aesthetic with the sleeves and back. I can even see a pair of knee high boots being a possible contender in this rompers future. 

The Growing Obsession

My growing obsession lately is military inspired clothing. I have recently purchased this Elizabeth and James Calvary jacket (seen here) and a few other inspired items, including this skirt pictured. I have always loved the structure to most military jackets and pants. So it wasn't unusual when I started to gravitate to that style, just didn't figure I would like it this much. What I love most about this skirt is it's versatility; I can pair it with a button up, regular plain top or a chunky knit.

Sparkle Balance

I own a large amount of sequin skirts, and I have no idea why. I feel when I am shopping, as soon as I see something sparkly - I must buy it. This was one of those buys. I am planning on wearing it this New Years Eve with a sweater for a more casual approach. I don't have any going out plans, just hanging out with family and friends so I think this is a perfect pairing for me. Be safe out there!!
