The Crop Top

{Elizabeth and James Top I Zara Jeans I Steve Madden Heels I Catherine Malandrino Bag}

I can't begin to tell you how happy I was to find this Elizabeth and James top, after seeing it on blogger Geri Hirsh's Instagram, and googling it to hopefully find it somewhere to buy. I stumbled upon this sale rack at Bleu Clothing on La Brea in Los Angeles, and not only was it 75% off, it was the exact size I needed.

My stomach for some reason is a feature of my body that I choose to not show off, I have started to embrace my body more and this crop top allows just enough skin to where I don't feel ashamed and naked. I am also a huge fan of the structure of the top and the fabric that it's made out of.

The Tucked in Boyfriend

{BDG Button-up I Goodnight Macaroon Skirt I Zara Pink Handbag I Raye Heels}

I have going store to store looking for a good boyfriend button-up. I really wanted one that had light wearable material, somewhat fitted to my shape, and on the longer hem side. I kept finding something that was either one of the things I was looking for, or nothing at all. I was getting really discouraged with my search and finally just called it off. Luckily the other day, I was running a random errand that had me next to a thrift store, and sure enough - I found the perfect wishlist button-up. It had everything I was looking for, and from the Label it should of been easier for me to find if I was looking towards Urban Outfitters. I always find that if I want something badly, I have to stop looking for it, and sooner than later - it will appear.

Date Night Cut-Outs

{Sea Goddess Dress I Aldo Block Color Heels}

I recently learned, by skimming through my closet, that I don't own a lot of brighter pink/red pieces. I have noticed with my comfort zone I tend to pick up more earthy tones. The most I have gone out of this box is with a red wine colored dress (that I may have only worn once). I found this dress by Salty Kisses by chance from an Instagram friend. I have seen this dress in white and blue which was really appealing to me, but the red was the only color available. I decided to just take the leap since the dress was something I have been stalking, and the structure of the dress made me feel the color really wouldn't play too much into it. Little did I know that the color would be my favorite part. It's a great addition to my closet at this point. Whenever I am feeling more playful I can always use this pop of color to stand out a little more.
