Before leaving LA I had to make my rounds to all my friends to say good-bye (for now). One of the nights we had dinner with my best friend and her man, which was the perfect excuse to wear this stunning Zara Jacquard Dress. I won Thrift and Threads Zara gift card over Christmas (which was the best gift ever), and put my money were my mouth is on this dress. I had been eyeing it for a couple weeks, so a great big Thank You to Brittney on this amazing dress (and a few other pieces I scored). Zara has been one of my favorite stores and their Jacquard line is straight up my alley!

Summertime Staple

This past week I had to finally invest in a new couch for our new apartment in Memphis. I am particularly excited about this new piece and I can't wait to pick it up and decorate around it. It was not easy making a blind purchase (I couldn't stand not having a couch the day I got in.. I am terrible), and picking out something that I felt would "go". We looked at about ten different apartments when we were in town in December, including the one we have put our deposit down. The new apartment we chose had this amazing 3D video you could watch to see the apartment, and I confess I have been looking at it about once a week to see what will go where. Well that little 3D video helped me choose out my couch, which is a perfect blue color, and it made the couch purchasing process much easier. I was thinking of doing a house tour once everything is in place! So look out for one of my first home posts I have had here on the blog. On a side note, light Cotton dresses are on my must list for the summer in Memphis. This great BCBG Generation dress is going to be perfect for those hot and humid days I have to face in my near future.

Sparkle Balance

{No Label Sweater, English Rose Skirt}

I own a large amount of sequin skirts, and I have no idea why. I feel when I am shopping, as soon as I see something sparkly - I must buy it. This was one of those buys. I am planning on wearing it this New Years Eve with a sweater for a more casual approach. I don't have any going out plans, just hanging out with family and friends so I think this is a perfect pairing for me. Be safe out there!!

{All About Eve Sweater, Hudson Jeans, Zara Loafers, Vintage Bag}

Feeling quite festive here in Memphis. It's been the second year I have spent Christmas in Memphis (don't worry my family got to see me on Thanksgiving). This city has become one of my favorites, and I can't wait to spend forever here. One of my main focuses on being back here was to explore more. There is so many things to see in either downtown Memphis, Beale Street, and surrounding towns have have great music history. Next stop will be Nashville (never been), so I am excited to finally hit those thrift stored and boutiques.
