Seeing Yellow

{Zara Blazer, Strom Jeans, BCBG Heels, Vintage Bag, Storage Top}

Not going to lie, this is the first time I have worn this brighter than life blazer. I bought it for the color and was afraid to wear it due to the color (Ironic). I loved it from first sight, but always felt I didn't have the right items to wear it with once I got it home. Although, I found that wearing a simple jean with a white top, the blazer complements the outfit perfectly without being overbearing on the eyes.

Dressing Plaid

{uni glo sweater, Zara Pants, Dolce Vita Bag, Ann Taylor Shoes}

There wasn't a time in my life were I was ever a fan of dress pants. I even refused jobs (no matter the pay) if I couldn't wear my own dress code. I felt cornered if I couldn't wear regular clothing, and I wasn't one to conform to a "dress pant" criteria. Clothing for me was always a way of expression, and not that I would wear inappropriate clothing, I just liked my own style enough were I wasn't about to dress like everyone else. That has all changed as I have gotten older, and recently purchased these dress pants with no buyers remorse. To wear these tailored pants in any interview make me feel empowered, and it like it.

Morning Coffee Run

{Uni Glo Sweater, ZARA Pants, Report Shoes, Lamcaster Paris Bag}

Being up at 6:00AM in Studio City is possibly one of the quietest parts of town, and I take full advantage of that time. I tend to be on the stay in - avoid groups of people at all costs. So being up that early and running for a coffee with a friend is one of my favorite things. We get to catch up, shoot some pictures, and spend time with just us with out a hundred people around. I never used to get up that early but a recent event has caused my body to flip its time schedule and I can't seem to get it back. The downside, I can't sleep in anymore. It's not that I don't want to, trust me, its that my body refuses me to stay asleep past 7am.

My Favorite Season

{Brandy Melville Sweater, Lovers + Friends Denim Skirt, Vintage Clutch, Steve Madden Boots}

Fall is like Christmas to me, and if you haven't already read in either the past couple posts, I LOVE Fall.. I grew up in Massachusetts and Fall there is possibly the prettiest time of year. People travel from all over to see the foliage color change and I don't blame them. My favorite things to do in October (in MA) would be to pumpkin/apple pick with friends, share a hot cider and laughs in a old barn resturant, layer up all those sweaters and jeans, and sip hot tea on a porch covered in blanets. Since being in LA I don't get to experience that - it's been one of the hardest things to adjust to out here. Although since itsstarting to get cool enough (mild 70s) to where I can actually put on a sweater past 2pm and not sweat profusely -  I am enjoying what little fall LA has.
